This section is for you and others interested in learning more about our Group Purchasing / Shared Services program.

Prime serves our members in the Mid-Atlantic region by partnering with contracted vendors to identify and deliver superior value. Value comes in many forms including aggressive national group level prices... often in return for committed volume and/or exclusivity...., superior service standards, members’ needs identification, special value added programs, problem resolution (and prevention), and close regular contact with our participating members.

Prime supports and endorses contracts to our members through focused and custom marketing strategies developed and implemented together with our contracted vendors.

We believe that sole source contracting, directly or through our affiliates, combined with high compliance, delivers the greatest value for all partners. However, multi-source contracting may be appropriate and used. These philosophies may vary depending upon the specific program, i.e. commodities, such as medical-surgical, dietary, pharmacy, or services, such as consulting or insurance products.
